It is a matter of great honour, pleasure and pride for me to put on record that by the kind grace of CREATOR & support from my acquaintances and staff members of GURU NANAK EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE SOCIETY ( REGD.) Gopalpur, is serving the mankind in all possible ways. Right from its inception in 1st April, 1997, the society has been putting its best efforts to achieve its various social - welfare targets, i.e., expansion of education, knowledge, health care facilities, inculcating values of non-violence, trust service, sacrifice, brotherhood, mutual co-operation among youths and eradication of social evils etc. Guru Nanak Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute, Gopalpur was established in 1998, with just 22 students in its first academic year of 2001- with gradual increase-now students in five batches of yearly intake of 60 show the excellent over all performance of this prestigious Institution, affiliated to Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur & approved by Central Council of Indian Medicines, New Delhi. Same is the xase of Guru Nanak College of Education and Guru Nanak College of Nursing, Gopalpur, which are also on the path of continuous success. All the above three Temples of Education, situated in eco friendly atmosphere adjacent to each other at Gopalpur; far away from the city crowds present a pollution-free and peaceful environment. Students find themselves at home and enjoy studying in these institutes as the teaching and other staff are selected after careful screening. Focus of the management is always on maintaining high standards of EDUCATION. Every care is taken for overall development and welfare of the students. Our society also provides assistance to the poor students by way of free books, scholarships etc. The Society also runs well-equipped GURU NANAK HOSPITAL at Dehlon. It provides valuable health services to the residents of Dehlon and surrounding villages. Services of experienced doctors, para - medical and other staff are available in this hospital. Free medical camps and mobile medical services are provided for the needy. As we believe in drug-free society, frequent de-addiction camps are organized. Several other steps are also taken for welfare of people. Over the time our institute has been showing continuous better results due to high quality education. Presently institute is having students in 5 batches of 60 students each. Our institute is affiliated to Guru Ravidas Ayurveded University and CCIM & its yearly intake capacity is 60. On the brink of our Seventeenth Anniversary. I feel greatly privileged and honored while presenting PROSPECTUS 2018-2019 to the young aspirants, who have dreams to start their career as competent Medical Practitioners and Teachers. I welcome you for your interest in these exceptional institutions which have recorded over 15 years of constant development. This document is concise information about GURU NANAK AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & RESEARCH INSTITUTE, GURU NANAK COLLEGE OF EDUCATION & GURU NANAK COLLEGE OF NURSING, which is being run by Guru Nanak Educational Charitable Society (Regd.), Gopalpur. It will provide a glance at the courses, infrastructure, teaching/other staff and facilities available in these Colleges. Hope the same would suffice and the students & their parents would prefer these Institutes as far as quality education is concerned. This institute was established in 1998 by Guru Nanak Educational Charitable Society (Regd.) Gopalpur, (Ludhiana) registered with the Registrar of Societies, Punjab. The affairs of the society are being managed and looked after by its experienced senior members, headed by the worthy President Dr. Balwinder Singh Walia an eminent educationist.

Guru Nanak Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute, Gopalpur (Ludhiana) is affiliated to Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur & recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi. The very first admission to the BAMS with just 22 students was made in Jan. 2001.
